Most colleges have a housing form that all freshmen-to-be who plan to live on campus must complete. Often this form will allow you to include the name of an intended roommate. In such cases, if you put your best friend’s name on this form and then your friend puts yours, you will be able to room together.

Can boys and girls room together at Ball State?

Gender-inclusive rooms are available throughout several of our residence halls. Depending on availability, possible halls could include Kinghorn, Park, DeHority, Botsford/Swinford, Schmidt/Wilson, North, and North West.

There will be no breeding of animals permitted. Any approved pet(s) must be maintained in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Only common household pets considered to be companion animals and fish tanks of 20 gallons or less will be allowed.
