Mechanical broadheads fly like field points so we use field points. Thus, no rubber bands to worry about.
Will Rage broadheads fly like field points?
Yes, out of a tuned bow the Hypo’s will fly like fieldpoints. Out of a tuned bow it is also possible to have a fixed blade fly like fieldpoints.

Can a Rage broadhead go through bone?
Broadheads are not meant to hit bone. NONE of them. that will stand up well in bone with any certainty.
How do you reuse Rage broadheads?
No broadhead is reusable after being shot without being sharpened or having the blades replaced. Rage’s kill the same way all BH’s do, through hemmorage.
Will an arrow break bone?

You have a projectile traveling with enough force to punch it’s way through layers of metal, your bones aren’t going to fare well. Pulling out an arrow on your own is, in general, a very bad idea. Pushing it through is actually worse. This will cause more damage than simply pulling it back out.
Will an arrow go through bone?
To answer your question, no, arrows shouldn’t break by stopping in bone or after going thru a leg bone. I’ve broken front legs, shot thru shoulder blades and other hard stuff and the arow doesn’t usually break until after the deer goes thru some brush or rolls over on it.
Why do my broadheads shoot higher?
Slight arrow-rest misalignments can cause broadheads and field tips to fly differently. Shoot one broadhead and follow it with two field tips. If the field tips group higher than the broadhead, your arrow rest is too low, which causes broadheads to plane lower than field tips.
How tight should broadheads?
I just slide my index, middle finger, and thumb down along the blades and give them a snug fit. If you feel it is too dangerous, use a broadhead wrench. I just snug them up against the insert.
