Are Disney MagicBands sold in stores?
Kelli, you can purchase MagicBands both online and in merchandise shops. If you would like to order these magical accessories before your trip, you can do so through My Disney Experience if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
Do Disney Stores in malls sell MagicBands?
No they do not sell them in the stores. You can order them from the Disney Store on-line and link them to your MDE.
Can you still use MagicBands in 2021?
MagicBands No Longer Offered Complimentary to Disney World Guests. Starting today, January 1, 2021, MagicBands are no longer being provided complimentary to Walt Disney World guests. This puts into effect what was originally announced back in June 2020 as part of a movement to due away with the MagicBand system.
Is Disney World getting rid of MagicBands?
Current MagicBands will continue to be available, too, along with the complimentary Disney MagicMobile service that extends MagicBand features, such as park entry, to smart devices.
Can you buy MagicBands at Disney outlets?
The outlets are WDW Parks outlets not the Disney Store outlets. The Disney Store sells more non park merchandise than park merchandise. Magic Bands are only used in or on Disney property/hotels, they have no reason to sell them at the mall.

At Magic Kingdom Park, stop by the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., or Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. in (you guessed it) Tomorrowland to check out the MagicBands in stock.
Can you reuse Disney MagicBands?
A. Yes. If you have a MagicBand or card that you like, and it is in working condition, you can continue to use it when you return to Walt Disney World Resort. If you have multiple MagicBands or cards, you can manage which ones are active in the MagicBand section of My Profile.
Can I use an old MagicBand?
If your MagicBands are more than two years old, you may find that they no longer work so you’ll want to be prepared with a backup by either using your admission cards/tickets or a Disney MagicMobile pass on the My Disney Experience mobile app.
How long do MagicBands last?
6. Long Battery Life. Disney has suggested that the MagicBands will remain active for approximately two years before the battery dies. The oldest of the ones that we have are reaching that point and we haven’t had any issues yet with any of them dying.
Can you reuse Disney wristbands?
As long as a band is listed as active in your My Disney Experience account, it can be re-used. If you have an old band from a previous on-property stay but are staying off-property on your next Disney vacation, you can take advantage of the convenience of reuse at no additional cost.
